packing

we are all hard at work trying to get everything we need together and in our bags. emily and i leave for Haiti at 4am tomorrow morning so we are counting down to our last hours. so many things are swirling in my head of what i need to pack and what i need to find...

it is sad to say goodbye to our new Korean friends. they are so sweet and i have enjoyed the two weeks i have been able to spend with them. my family will say farewell to them on friday as they will fly home to Korea.

i am looking forward to being in Haiti and really hope that the next couple of hours are very productive. of course what we cannot bring ashley will be able to bring in her bags in a week and a half.

everyone enjoyed their time getting up close and personal with the animals! it was an experience I won't soon forget.

new camera!!

yesterday I got a new camera! I am really excited! now I guess I will have to learn how to take pictures like Ashley. ;) maybe she will teach me. today we went to the pool with the Koreans. they had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the water!

next week today I will be in Haiti!! I will get to use my new camera all the time! I am excited but I have a ton to do to get ready to leave... and with the Koreans here I do not have much time at all. tonight they will be at our friends house so I will try to get as much done as possible. there is never a dull moment here at the Pell house!

tonight we had a meeting with Pastor N and Becky to discuss all that we have planed for the next week and a half. I must say it was a bit overwhelming... maybe just because I am leaving in a week and a half... but I'm not sure. well tomorrow we are off to Old Salem... and I think it should be fun!
